Barstow to Santa Monica: We Did It

The final day. We start in Barstow and head toward Santa Monica. After 10 days of driving Route 66, this is the last stretch. We pass through Victorville, San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, Los Angeles, Sunset Strip, Santa Monica Boulevard, and finally reach the Pacific Ocean.

Mechanical challenges

The final drive through Los Angeles is stressful but exciting. We are on surface streets, hitting traffic, getting closer to the beach, and realizing that the dream is almost finished.
